Privacy policy

We won't ever share your email address with third parties. You'll get updates from us as your survey progresses through the moderation and collection process, or if you ask us for a follow-up. You'll also receive transactional emails if you've paid us for any additional services.

The questions asked through Find Out Now will be shown to Pick My Postcode members participating in the survey draw at (https://pickmypostcode.com/survey-draw). Pick My Postcode is free to play, and publicly accessible, so please don't put anything in the question or answers that you'd like to keep private.

During our beta the content of any questions you ask, including the individual responses and aggregated results, may be shared, or made public, on an anonymous basis. The email, name and company name you supply when creating a question will not be shared.

We also store and process the questions and responses under the privacy policy on Pick My Postcode, which you can read at (https://pickmypostcode.com/privacy-policy).

Third party tracking for insights and analytics

This website shares limited information with third parties, including search engines, social media websites, analytics services, affiliate networks and acquisition partners to help monitor traffic to the Website and understand where our visitors are coming from and how they are using this website. This information is typically used to measure the success of different keywords in search engines, monitor the advertisement of our own services on other website, reward affiliates and acquisition partners making referrals to this website or record analytics on how this website is being used, which includes recording information that allows us to recreate a simulation of a visit to this website.

The information shared is limited to the details of the keywords or advertisement and may include the use of a referral id and/or temporary unique identifier. It will also include the information required to make a connection, including your internet protocol address at the time the connection is made as well as details about your device and browser.

The third party tracking services will share aggregated and anonymous data with us, to help us better understand our users and measure success. In the case of Google Analytics, this includes general demographic data.

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimise this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behaviour and their devices (in particular device's IP address (captured and stored only in anonymised form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (at a country only), preferred language used to display our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymised user profile. Neither Hotjar nor we will ever use this information to identify individual users or to match it with further data on an individual user.
