Polling on Reform UK
Find Out Now conducted a nationally representative survey of 2,024 GB adults on 20th September, to ask their views on Reform UK, on the occassion of their party conference in Birmingham.
The key findings:
- 3 in 10 (29 per cent) say they would ‘definitely’ or ‘potentially’ vote for Reform UK, including over half of 2019 Conservatives. The plurality of the public (42 per cent) say they would ‘never vote for them’
- Less than 1 in 10 (7 per cent) of 2019 Labour voters say they would consider voting Reform UK. Almost 8 in 10 (78 per cent) say they would ‘never vote for them’
- Only 1 in 5 (20 per cent) say they like Nigel Farage, compared to a third (33 per cent) who ‘neither like nor dislike him’ and almost half (47 per cent) who say they dislike him
- On Reform’s proposal to return intercepted migrants crossing the Channel back to France, more think it is a good (37 per cent) than a bad (31 per cent) idea. But a large number (32 per cent) aren’t sure
- There is no majority agreement on whether Reform is racist or far-right, nor whether they are ‘common sense’ or ‘represent ordinary people’
- When asked to describe Reform UK in one word, people had…a variety of responses. All responses can be found here
