Polling of Conservative Party members
Find Out Now provided a sample of 537 Conservative Party members to Labour Together, for a poll investigating their preferences on Conservative Party leadership and opinions on the local elections.
Key findings from the survey:
- Both Penny Mourdant (46-34) and Nigel Farage (46-38) would have gained more support than Rishi Sunak if a Conservative Party leadership contest was held and those were the final two candidates
- When presented with a list, the most popular answer for “best leader of the Conservative Party” was Nigel Farage with 27% selecting him
- A plurality (but not a majority) think Rishi Sunak should resign as Prime Minister if the Conservatives lose more than half of the Council seats that they are defending at the local elections
