An update on Find Out Now’s monthly leadership polling, conducted since the start of 2025.

Comparison of approval ratings of different political party leaders, tracked since January 2025

Comparison of how much people understand what the leaders of different political party leaders

Comparison of how much 2024 GE non-voters understand what the leaders of different political party leaders

The main takeaways:

  • Over two thirds (70 per cent) say Keir Starmer is doing badly as Prime Minister. Only one in ten (8 per cent) disagree
  • Far more people say they know what Nigel Farage stands for compared to other party leaders, this having increased over time
  • Kemi Badenoch and Ed Davey are less known to the public, with up to half saying they ‘Don’t know’ if they are doing well or badly, and over 7 in 10 saying “I’m not sure what they stand for”
  • Only Nigel Farage has a majority of 2024 GE non-voters saying they know what he stands for
  • From his first month (not yet enough to show on graph) Zack Polanski has a quarter (26 per cent) say they know what he stands for, higher than Ed Davey
