Eurovision survey 2025
Find Out Now conducted a nationally representative poll of 2000 Britons, to identify how many people watched the Eurovision Song Contest held last Saturday (17th May) and their opinions on it.
The key findings:
- 19 per cent of the public watched Eurovision last Saturday. This was similar to last year (20 per cent) and all age groups below 55 watched it in similar numbers (with a decline in popularity thereafter)
- The British public’s favourite act was the United Kingdom (31 per cent) followed by Sweden (28 per cent), Estonia (19 per cent) and Austria (18 per cent)
- When asked if there was a performance that they particularly didn’t like, a plurality said ‘None of the above’ (28 per cent) followed by Israel (22 per cent) – with younger respondents being the most likely to select this
- Over two thirds (68 per cent) say that the UK should have received more points, to only a fifth (20 per cent) who say it should not have
- The public were more likely to disagree (59 per cent) than agree (41 per cent) that Austria were the right winner
- Over two thirds (68 per cent) disagreed that it was right for Israel to have scored as high as they did

Find Out Now interviewed 2,747 GB adults on Sunday 18th May, and produced a sample of 2,029 respondents which is nationally representative by: Gender, Age, and Region, of which 389 had watched the Eurovision Song Contest
Data tables can be found here. In addition, Find Out Now also ran a non-representative survey of 16,523 respondents, of whom 2,891 had watched the Eurovision Song Contest, with the results largely being in line with the representative survey above. The raw data for that survey can be found below:
