Scottish Independence in the lead
Our new nationally representative poll of 558 adults in Scotland, commissioned by the Alba Party, shows a narrow lead for Yes over No when we asked “Should Scotland be an independent Country”. This is not a standard hypothetical voting intention poll on Scottish Independence, but it is consistent with the ones we have conducted as recently as the 1st – 9th of March.
Should Scotland be an independent Country?
Yes: 43.4%
No: 39.2%
I don’t know: 10.8%
Prefer not to say: 6.6%
About the poll
Find Out Now interviewed 1,029 adults in Scotland from 2023-06-07 to 2023-06-12, and produced a sample of 558 respondents which is representative of Scotland by: Gender, Age, Social Class, Scottish Region, Brexit Vote, and 2019 General Election.
