Our survey of 1,403 GB Adults on behalf of Statista for a Channel 4 documentary named “My First Threesome“, followed singletons and couples looking to explore new sexual experiences. Viewers where shown a series of statistics collected from our panel, who were asked some sensitive questions about sexual history and preferences.

Among the findings:

• 2/3rds of those who fantasise about having a threesome, would like to make it a reality
• 1 in 4 say lockdown as made them want to be more sexually adventurous

The controversial programme, which first aired on aired on Wednesday the 13th of October 2021, provoked a strong reaction on social media.
