Mass MRP poll: Landslide for Labour and lost seat for Sunak
Find Out Now and Electoral Calculus have conducted an MRP poll for Channel 4 News, which estimates the British electorate’s voting intention for each of the main parties on a constituency level using high volume polling and regression techniques.
Key points
- Labour led of 22% over Conservatives in voting intention.
- MRP predict Labour landslide to 420 seats in MRP prediction, Tories reduced to 90.
- Re-emergence of the Liberal Democrats, vying for third place with the SNP.
Not only does the poll predict a Labour landslide if an election were to take place now, but that the Conservatives would lose some of their most important seats including Rishi Sunak’s in Richmond (Yorkshire).
