Conservative voters favour Rishi Sunak in leadership race
Find Out Now and election experts Electoral Calculus have run a poll on the
Conservative leadership race among the general public, including Conservative
voters.
The poll asked GB residents which candidate they would prefer as leader of the
Conservative party and Prime Minister.

- Rishi Sunak topped the poll with the support of 25pc of Conservative voters who expressed a preference
- Liz Truss was in second place with 18pc
- Sajid Javid and Penny Mordaunt were quite close together in third and fourth place
- Rishi Sunak also topped the poll of all members of the general public, with 23pc support
- Sunak and Truss about equally popular with Leave voters
- Sunak more popular than Truss among Labour and Lib Dem voters
